Hi I'm Stewart, a passionate developer and aspiring biologist who was born & raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2009 for work in the web development industry. After working professionally for a few years, I enrolled at the Community College of Denver and began taking prerequisites for a science degree of some type.
After rediscovering my passion for the natural sciences, my degree path quickly shifted towards biology and wanting to study both plants and fish. Colorado State University seemed like the best fit to provide undergraduate research and lab experience opportunities for my interests, so off to Fort Collins I go.
Wondering how my initial skill set and passion for computer science could apply to the field of biology led me to bioinformatics, machine learning, data science and the cutting edge research associated with these technologies. With an extensive background in computing, solving real world biology problems with computers excites me to no end and inspires me to pursue a graduate degree in bioinformatics or computational biology after my undergraduate studies are completed.
Since my journey into the world of data science and bioinformatics is just beginning, I don't have any bio related projects to show off just yet.php web development denver
